Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric nursing care in an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa during a 13-week contract. The unit focuses on labor, delivery, fetal monitoring, and support for patients and newborns.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and birth
• Support admissions, assessments, and ongoing labor care
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Assist with delivery preparation and recovery care
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP certification
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
