Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit supports labor, delivery, and fetal monitoring for mothers and newborns.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
• Assist with birth procedures and immediate newborn care
• Support pain management, IV therapy, and medication administration
• Assess postpartum recovery and changes in condition
• Coordinate care with the team and respond to emergencies
• Document care and maintain patient safety

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal heart monitoring certification
• Maternal, fetal, and newborn assessment skills
• Labor and delivery nursing competency
