Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide maternity care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit supports laboring patients, fetal monitoring, and newborn transition care.

• Assess laboring patients and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal status
• Assist with deliveries and obstetric procedures
• Administer medications and IV fluids per orders
• Support postpartum recovery and newborn transition
• Document care and coordinate with the care team

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification
• AWHONN fetal heart monitoring competency
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
