Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Waterbury, CT

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for birthing patients and newborns in an acute care hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Waterbury, Connecticut. The role supports fetal monitoring, intrapartum care, and a collaborative obstetric setting.

• Assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and report changes promptly
• Assist with deliveries and immediate newborn care
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Coordinate care with the obstetric team and other clinicians

• Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN fetal heart monitoring
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
