Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Bakersfield, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide coordinated nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bakersfield, California.

• Provide coordinated nursing care to labor and delivery patients
• Assess patient needs and adjust care plans through the nursing process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and report changes promptly
• Supervise assigned nursing staff and direct daily care activities
• Coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines on the team
• Use critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to use sound judgment in fast-paced care settings
