About this job

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Warrensburg, Missouri. The unit supports labor, postpartum, and nursery care. First-time travelers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor labor, postpartum, and nursery patients
  • Assist with cesarean circulator and recovery care
  • Support deliveries and newborn stabilization
  • Assess maternal and infant status and report changes
  • Document care and coordinate with the care team
  • Educate families on recovery and newborn care

Qualifications

  • Missouri Registered Nurse license
  • BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NIHSS, and NRP
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program

Preferred Skills

  • Charge nurse experience
  • Nursery experience
  • Cerner experience
