Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Thousand Oaks, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a hospital setting on a 13 week contract in Thousand Oaks, California. The unit has 9 LDRs, additional triage and outpatient testing beds, and uses CPN/Meditech charting.

• Provide care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Perform vaginal exams and assist with fetal monitoring
• Circulate C-sections and support recovery after surgery
• Assist with OB triage, NST, CST, and BPP testing
• Support care for obstetric emergencies and newborn assessment after birth
• Collaborate with the team to deliver safe, patient-centered care

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• 2 years of fetal monitoring experience
• Labor and delivery experience with vaginal exams and C-section circulation
• Strong critical thinking skills

• Scrub experience
• NCC Inpatient Obstetric certification
• NCC EFM certification
