Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Smyrna, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Smyrna, Tennessee. The unit includes 9 L&D beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and a 3-bed OBED, with a 1:2 ratio and CPN and Meditech charting. Dedicated midwife, CRNA, and neonatal support are available for complex deliveries.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
• Support patient choice and vaginal birth goals
• Assist with circulating in the operating room for obstetric procedures
• Manage IUPC, FSE, magnesium sulfate, and nitrous oxide support
• Respond to postpartum hemorrhage and stabilize patients
• Coordinate couplet care for mother and newborn

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification
• Labor and delivery nursing skills
• Experience supporting obstetric emergencies and fetal monitoring

• Spinning Babies knowledge
