Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Smyrna, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support laboring patients and births in a hospital in Smyrna, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit has 9 L&D beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and a 3-bed OBED, with CPN and Meditech charting and 24/7 in-house midwife, CRNA, and OB support.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
• Assist with vaginal births and cesarean deliveries in the OR
• Support IUPC, FSE, magnesium sulfate, nitrous oxide, and hemorrhage care
• Provide education and emotional support to laboring patients and families
• Collaborate with midwives, CRNA, OB, and unit staff
• Document care accurately in the charting system

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Fetal monitoring certification

• Spinning Babies knowledge
