Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support labor and delivery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The 12-bed unit cares for term labor, antepartum surveillance, and newborn care, and uses Epic charting.

• Assess obstetric patients in triage and during labor
• Assist with inductions, external versions, and vaginal deliveries
• Support cesarean delivery care and recovery
• Monitor fetal status with NSTs and fetal monitoring
• Provide newborn resuscitation, stabilization, and couplet care
• Administer magnesium sulfate and other ordered therapies
• Deliver postpartum teaching and discharge support

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience
• Obstetric triage, fetal monitoring, and newborn stabilization skills

• AWHONN Advanced
• AWHONN Beginner
• Previous charge experience
• High-risk delivery support, spiral electrode placement, and tubal ligation care
