Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Smyrna, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring patients in a hospital unit in Smyrna, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit uses 1:2 ratios and CPN and Meditech charting. Care is supported by in-house midwives, a dedicated CRNA, and obstetric coverage.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and birth
• Support patient choice and vaginal birth plans
• Assist with circulating in the operating room
• Manage IUPC, FSE, magnesium sulfate, and nitrous oxide
• Respond to postpartum hemorrhage care
• Collaborate with midwives, obstetric providers, and anesthesia

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• Fetal monitoring competency
