Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Riverside, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support labor and delivery care in an acute care hospital on a 6-week contract in Riverside, California. The unit has 11 labor beds, 4 observation and evaluation spaces, 2 OB PACU spaces and 2 ORs, with 1:2 patient ratios and CPN and Meditech charting.

• Monitor labor progress and maternal-fetal status
• Assist with NSTs and cervical exams
• Administer and titrate medications as ordered
• Support vaginal delivery and newborn transition
• Provide care for postpartum couplets when needed
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and OB techs

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery transition nurse and baby-catching experience
