Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Riverside, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for mothers and newborns in an acute care hospital in Riverside, California on a 6-week contract. The unit includes labor beds, OB evaluation, OB PACU, and operating rooms, with 1:2 and 1:1 patient ratios. Charting is done in CPN and Meditech, and fetal monitoring is central to the role.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Assist with cervical exams and newborn delivery support
• Manage labor care and titrate medications as ordered
• Support nonstress testing and fetal monitoring interpretation
• Provide McRoberts maneuvers and other labor support measures
• Document care in the electronic record

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification

• Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Transition nurse experience
• Baby catching experience
