Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for labor, antepartum, mother-baby, and couplet care patients in an acute care hospital for a 16-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit serves women of childbearing years and newborns, uses Epic and OBIX, and includes a Level III NICU. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide labor, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Support couplet care and newborn transition
• Administer IV therapies, oxytocin, and magnesium sulfate
• Document care in Epic and follow isolation precautions

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications
• 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Competence with antepartum, mother-baby, couplet care, and fetal monitoring

• AWHONN Intermediate
• High-risk antepartum and delivery experience
• Blood product administration and hemorrhage management
• Amnioinfusion and NST support
