Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for labor, postpartum and antepartum patients in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The 43-bed unit serves women of childbearing years and newborns, uses Epic charting and OBIX fetal monitoring, and has a Level III NICU. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide labor, delivery, antepartum and postpartum nursing care
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal births and cesarean deliveries
• Support couplet care, newborn assessment and thermoregulation
• Administer medications, IV drips and magnesium therapy
• Maintain patient safety, documentation and infection precautions

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Epic charting system experience
• High-risk obstetric, newborn and couplet care skills

• AWHONN Intermediate
• Amnioinfusion and blood product administration
• Operative delivery support and hemorrhage management
