Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for labor, mother/baby and antepartum patients in an acute care hospital on a 16 week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit serves women of child bearing years and newborns, uses Epic charting, and supports a Level III NICU with OBIX monitoring. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide bedside care for labor, antepartum, mother/baby and newborn patients
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and support fetal surveillance
• Assist with vaginal births, cesarean births and recovery care
• Administer medications, drips and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Perform newborn assessment, thermoregulation and couplet care
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in Epic

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting experience
• Labor and delivery, antepartum, mother/baby and newborn care skills

• AWHONN Intermediate
• High risk antepartum and high risk OB care
• Forceps and vacuum delivery support
