Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Napa, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetrical care in an acute care hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Napa, California. The unit cares for adult patients, uses Epic, and has a small census. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and fetal assessment
• Assist with vaginal births and cesarean deliveries
• Manage medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Provide newborn care, breastfeeding support, and parent teaching
• Support triage and respond to obstetrical changes

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting experience
• Sterile vaginal exam competency

• AWHONN Advanced certification
• Amnioinfusion and IUPC placement experience
• Community-level labor and delivery experience
• Cesarean scrub experience
