Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Napa, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric and newborn care in an acute care hospital labor and delivery unit on a 26-week contract in Napa, California. The unit has 7 rooms, 14 beds, an average daily census of 10, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage obstetrical patients and perform sterile vaginal exams
• Monitor labor progress and fetal heart patterns
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide postpartum, newborn, and couplet care
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Support patient education, discharge teaching, and breastfeeding guidance

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting system experience

• AWHONN Advanced
• Amnioinfusion and IUPC placement experience
• Scrub support for C-section
• Community level experience
