Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Kingwood, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Kingwood, Texas. The unit includes OBED, antepartum, labor, LDOR and LD PACU areas, with ratios based on acuity and charting in Meditech and GE CPN Centricity.

• Monitor fetal and maternal status
• Administer magnesium sulfate and oxytocin
• Titrate insulin drips when needed
• Assist with sterile vaginal exams
• Support cesarean sections and OR circulation
• Provide care across OBED, antepartum and labor areas

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 complete years of LDU experience off orientation
• BLS, ACLS, AWOHNN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and NRP certification
• Magnesium sulfate, oxytocin and insulin drip management skills

• Transition care nursing of neonates experience
