Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support labor and delivery care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit cares for high-risk obstetric patients with 1:1 and 1:2 acuity-based ratios. CPN and Meditech are used for charting.

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care for obstetric patients
• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Assist with cesarean births and other obstetric procedures
• Support antepartum and obstetric emergency care
• Respond to acuity changes and coordinate with the care team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient outcomes

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, NRP and BLS
• AWHONN Intermediate EFM certification
• 2 years of high-risk OB nursing experience

• Massive transfusion experience
• PASD experience
