Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Plainview, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric care in a rural short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Plainview, Texas. The unit may have only one L&D nurse at a time, with support for OB triage, outpatient patients, postpartum care, and nursery care as needed.

• Triage obstetrical patients
• Provide labor and delivery care for routine and high-risk patients
• Assist with high-risk deliveries
• Circulate and recover C-sections
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and support IUPC placement and calibration
• Support central line care and obstetric infusions

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• High-risk antepartum and obstetrical triage experience
• IUPC placement and calibration, central line care, and obstetric infusion therapy
• C-section circulation and recovery experience
• Teaching hospital and charting system experience
