Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Mcallen, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 12-week contract in McAllen, Texas. The unit has 14 labor beds, 8 antepartum beds, 6 recovery bays, 2 ORs, and uses Meditech/Centricity Perinatal.

• Manage labor patients and support labor progression
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support antepartum, recovery, and postpartum care
• Administer and titrate magnesium and Pitocin drips
• Monitor fetal status with electronic fetal monitoring
• Prepare for obstetric procedures and provide OR support

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Intermittent EFM proficiency
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Ability to circulate in L&D OR
