Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Mcallen, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring patients in an acute care hospital on a 6-week contract in McAllen, Texas. The unit has 14 labor beds, 8 antepartum beds, 2 ORs, 6 recovery bays, and uses Meditech/Centricity Perinatal.

• Provide bedside care for laboring and antepartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status using external fetal monitoring
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support recovery care after obstetric procedures
• Administer and titrate magnesium and Pitocin infusions
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Intermittent EFM competency
• Labor management experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Circulating support in the L&D operating room
