Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide maternal and newborn care in a labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit uses Meditech charting and maintains 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios. Close obstetric monitoring supports high-acuity births and procedures.

• Provide bedside care for laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status throughout labor
• Assist with vaginal births, cesarean sections, and TOLAC care
• Support circulating duties for cesarean deliveries
• Assess labor progress and document patient status
• Respond to changing conditions with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
• 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• SVE competency and cesarean circulation experience

• Internal fetal monitor placement competency
• Level IV labor and delivery experience
