Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for obstetric patients in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit uses Cerner charting and manages complex maternal and newborn care in a 46-bed setting with about 27 patients a day.

• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Support high-risk labor, birth, and recovery care
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Provide newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and APGAR support
• Document care in Cerner and coordinate with the care team

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate course
• 1.5 years of labor and delivery travel experience
• Cerner experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong fetal monitoring and obstetric assessment skills

• AWHONN Beginner
• High-risk obstetric, antepartum, and triage experience
• Breastfeeding and lactation support
• Teaching hospital or Trauma Level I experience
