Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for obstetrical patients in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 12-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana. The unit uses Cerner and commonly sees labor, induction, cesarean, antepartum, and triage patients. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess labor, induction, antepartum, and triage patients
• Monitor fetal heart patterns, uterine activity, and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean births
• Provide newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and initial stabilization
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as ordered
• Support pain management, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM certifications
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Cerner charting experience
• Experience with obstetrical triage and fetal monitoring

• Couplet care
• LDRP experience
• VBAC management
• Previous charge experience
