Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for obstetrical patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves high-risk labor, antepartum, and obstetric triage patients and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor labor, antepartum, and triage patients
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Support fetal monitoring and tracing changes
• Provide postpartum, newborn, and couplet care
• Manage IV therapy, medications, and blood products
• Complete obstetric assessments and patient education

• Alaska Registered Nurse license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and NRP
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• VBAC management and trial of labor
• Breastfeeding and lactation support
