Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The 7-bed LDRP unit follows AWHONN acuity staffing ratios and uses EPIC with Centricity Perinatal. A Level 2 NICU supports infants over 32 weeks and over 1500 grams.

• Manage labor triage, antepartum care, and intrapartum assessments
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, c-sections, tubal ligations, D&C, and vaginal repairs
• Monitor fetal status and support induction of labor and NSTs
• Provide care during postpartum recovery and newborn transition
• Attend low-risk newborn deliveries and support initial resuscitation
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe, acuity-based staffing

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications

• IUPC and FSE placement
• Assistance with JADA, COOKS, and BAKRI placement
