Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide high-risk obstetric care in a magnet, level II trauma hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and supports OB triage, antepartum, labor, and recovery. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess obstetrical patients in triage, labor, antepartum, and postpartum
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean births, and recovery care
• Provide newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and resuscitation support
• Manage IV therapy, infusions, blood products, and medications
• Support cervical cerclage, D&C, and sterile vaginal exams
• Document care in Epic and collaborate with the care team

• Alaska Registered Nurse license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and NRP
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting experience

• Charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
