Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric nursing care in a hospital labor and delivery unit during a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit uses Cerner, serves L&D patients, and has 27 rooms and 46 beds.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor
• Assist with vaginal, cesarean, and high-risk deliveries
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Perform newborn stabilization, APGAR scoring, and identification steps
• Support postpartum assessments, pain control, and wound care
• Document care in Cerner and collaborate with the care team

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate course
• 1.5 years of Labor and Delivery travel experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Strong fetal monitoring, IV therapy, and obstetric assessment skills

• AWHONN Beginner
• High-risk antepartum care
• Breastfeeding support
• Trauma Level I experience
