Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a high-volume obstetric unit on a 6-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit handles more than 1,000 deliveries a month, uses Meditech, and supports 1:1 to 1:2 patient care. It manages vaginal births, cesarean sections, and TOLAC with advanced fetal monitoring equipment.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Support vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Assist with cesarean section circulation
• Provide care during TOLAC and related obstetric procedures
• Use fetal monitoring equipment and charting tools
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN certification
• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• EFM, SVE competency and cesarean section circulation skill

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Experience in a high-volume Level IV labor and delivery unit
