Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a labor and delivery unit in Austin, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 32 beds, uses Meditech, and supports 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios. It serves laboring patients and supports fetal monitoring, cesarean care, and vaginal births.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean births
• Support cerclage, TOLAC and labor care
• Circulate for cesarean procedures
• Perform fetal monitoring and labor assessments
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe patient flow

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE and intermediate fetal monitoring
• 2+ years of labor and delivery nursing experience
• EFM, SVE and cesarean circulation competency

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Experience in a high-volume Level IV unit
