Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support an antepartum unit during a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. This 24-bed hospital unit uses Meditech and CPN, with typical ratios of 3:1 to 4:1 and occasional 2:1 assignments based on acuity.

• Monitor antepartum patients and report changes in maternal and fetal status
• Perform nonstress tests and support fetal surveillance
• Manage hyperemesis care and other common antepartum needs
• Administer insulin, magnesium, and heparin drips per protocol
• Document assessments and coordinate care with the bedside team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications
• Antepartum or labor and delivery bedside nursing skills

• Previous labor and delivery or antepartum experience
