Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support vascular IR procedures in an imaging support unit at a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The role uses Epic charting and involves active participation with Hybrid OR cases, 3D imaging, and fusion technology.

• Prepare case inventory and enter procedure orders in Epic
• Operate the table and controls during vascular IR cases
• Perform 3D spins and support fusion technology
• Capture and post-process images throughout procedures
• Document case activity and inventory in HI-IQ
• Collaborate with vascular surgeons and the procedural team
• Support simple surgical cases with C-arm and fluoroscopy

• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license, temporary licensure possible with current out-of-state licensure
• ARRT VI certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of interventional radiology or vascular IR experience
• Endovascular interventions experience, including EVAR, TEVAR, and upper and lower extremity angiography

• Hybrid OR experience
• Angioplasty and carotid stenting skills
• Thrombolysis, thrombectomy, ultrasound, and vascular closure system experience
• Trauma Level I experience and Siemens system familiarity
