Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support vascular IR cases in the operating room at a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 26-week contract. The unit uses Epic and keeps the technologist involved in case setup, imaging, and post-processing throughout the procedure.

• Prepare cases and pull inventory in Epic
• Run the table and imaging controls during procedures
• Perform 3D spins and support fusion imaging
• Document images and used inventory in HI-IQ
• Assist vascular surgeons and the procedural team
• Support C-arm imaging for selected surgical cases

• Virginia radiologic technologist license, pending with active out-of-state licensure
• ARRT VI certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, and upper and lower extremity angiography

• Hybrid OR experience
• Angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy
• Access site preparation, ultrasound, and vascular closure systems
• Siemens imaging system experience and trauma level I experience
