Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support vascular interventional radiology cases in an operating room imaging support role on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. Epic charting is used, and the role involves hybrid OR procedures, fusion imaging, and active participation throughout each case.

• Prepare the room and case materials before vascular and endovascular procedures
• Operate table controls and imaging acquisition during cases
• Perform 3D spins and support fusion imaging workflows
• Document supplies and inventory used during the case
• Capture and process images throughout the procedure
• Collaborate with surgeons and procedural team members in the room
• Support simple fluoroscopic cases when assigned

• ARRT VI certification
• BLS certification
• Virginia radiologic technologist license, with pending licensure accepted when already licensed in another state
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Endovascular intervention experience, including EVAR, TEVAR, and upper and lower extremity angiography
• Independent procedural workflow skills

• Hybrid OR experience
• Angioplasty and carotid stenting experience
• Thrombolysis and thrombectomy experience
• Ultrasound-guided access and vascular closure techniques
• Trauma Level I experience
