Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Tech Registered Radiologic Technologist will support vascular IR procedures in an imaging support unit in Charlottesville, Virginia, on a 13-week contract. Epic charting, hybrid OR work, and active participation throughout the case workflow are central to the role.

• Prepare vascular IR cases and pull needed inventory
• Coordinate case details in Epic before procedures
• Operate table controls and support imaging during cases
• Perform 3D spins and fusion imaging workflows
• Film, process, and document images during and after cases
• Assist surgeons and the OR team throughout procedures
• Support simple fluoroscopy cases with C-arm imaging

• ARRT VI certification
• BLS certification
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license, pending with active licensure in another state
• 2 years of interventional radiology or vascular experience
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid OR

• Angioplasty and carotid stenting
• Thrombolysis and thrombectomy
• Vascular closure systems and ultrasound
• Trauma Level I or hybrid OR experience
