Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support vascular IR procedures in the imaging support unit of a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia, on a 13-week contract. Epic is used for charting, and the role works in a hybrid OR environment.

• Pull case inventory and prepare procedure supplies
• Run the table and controls during vascular IR cases
• Perform 3D spins and fusion imaging support
• Document images and inventory used during each case
• Work closely with vascular surgeons and the procedural team
• Use a C-arm to assist with simple surgical cases

• ARRT VI certification
• BLS certification
• Virginia radiologic technologist license
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR and angiography skills

• Hybrid OR experience
• Angioplasty and carotid stenting
• Thrombolysis, thrombectomy and vascular closure systems
• Ultrasound and trauma level I experience
