Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT VI certification will support vascular IR procedures in the operating room for a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit uses Epic and focuses on hybrid OR and complex endovascular work.

• Prepare vascular and IR cases in Epic and pull needed inventory
• Run table controls during procedures
• Perform 3D spins and fusion imaging workflows
• Document case details and inventory use in HI-IQ
• Film and post-process images throughout procedures
• Support vascular surgeons, OR staff and simple surgical cases with C-arm imaging
• Assist with endovascular and hybrid OR procedures

• ARRT VI certification
• BLS certification
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license or temporary eligibility with an active out-of-state license
• 2 years of interventional radiology or vascular experience
• Experience with endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR and upper and lower extremity angiography

• Angioplasty and carotid stenting
• Thrombolysis, thrombectomy and vascular closure systems
• Hybrid OR procedures and trauma level I experience
• Access site preparation and ultrasound experience
