Travel Intermediate Care RN in Longview, TX

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for stepdown patients in a hospital in Longview, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit serves ICU and medical-surgical patients, with ratios up to 1:5. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor stepdown patients and report changes in condition
• Administer medications and supportive treatments per plan of care
• Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Support telemetry monitoring and escalate acuity changes promptly
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Assist with ICU and medical-surgical patient flow

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2 years of ICU or intermediate care experience
• Stepdown, ICU, and medical-surgical patient care skills
