Travel Intermediate Care RN in Cleveland, OH

A Travel Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse will care for children and young adults in an acute care hospital in Cleveland, Ohio on a 13-week contract. The unit includes epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years old, with cardiac rhythm monitoring and inotropic support.

• Assess pediatric stepdown patients and update nursing care plans
• Monitor telemetry, rhythm changes, and EKG findings
• Administer ordered medications and support inotropic therapy
• Coordinate care for epilepsy monitoring and seizure precautions
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns
• Document patient status and nursing interventions

• Ohio Registered Nurse license or compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 12 months of permanent pediatric stepdown experience
• Experience with epilepsy monitoring and pediatric intermediate care
• Care of patients up to 25 years old
