Travel Intermediate Care RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a short term acute care hospital in Lubbock, Texas on a 13-week contract. This 32-bed unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with Epic charting, 1:4 ratios, and Level II trauma care. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage tracheostomy and ventilator support
• Provide post cath lab and post cardiac surgery care
• Administer blood products and IV therapies
• Support patients with sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, heart failure, stroke, and trauma
• Perform sheath removal, TR band care, and line management

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of progressive care or intermediate/stepdown experience
• Trauma Level II experience
• Core telemetry, drip titration, tracheostomy, and ventilator skills

• Epic charting system experience
• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
