Travel ICU RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in an adult ICU on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit has 24 beds, uses Epic, and serves adults and geriatrics in a teaching hospital.

• Monitor critically ill adults with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and transplant needs
• Manage ventilators, noninvasive oxygen support, and airway suctioning
• Titrate vasoactive, cardiac, sedation, and paralytic infusions
• Assess arterial lines, central lines, blood gases, dysrhythmias, and hemodynamic status
• Administer blood products, IV medications, and insulin protocols
• Support procedural sedation, phlebotomy, and emergency interventions

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience in a 400-bed-or-larger hospital
• Epic charting system experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• CCRN
• Chest tube insertion and removal assistance
• FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
• ICP monitoring
