Travel ICU RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adults and geriatrics in a hospital ICU on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit has 24 beds, uses Epic, and cares for high-acuity neuro, respiratory failure, cardiac, and transplant patients.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in condition
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, and vasoactive and cardiac drips
• Provide care for patients receiving continuous sedation and paralytics
• Assist with Swan Ganz monitoring, blood products, and procedural sedation
• Support patients on BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and dysrhythmia interpretation

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience in a 400-bed or larger facility
• Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience

• CCRN
• Chest tube insertion and removal assistance
• FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
• ICP monitoring
