Per Diem ICU RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California. The 28-bed unit uses Allscripts EMD charting.

• Monitor critically ill adults and geriatrics
• Administer blood products and IV sedation
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and PICC lines
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias
• Support ventilator care and suctioning

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI, MAB, or SAAM certification
• 1 year of ICU experience
• Community hospital experience
• EPIC experience
• 2:1 ICU ratio experience and critical care skills

• Neuro ICU, surgical ICU, and multisystem organ dysfunction experience
• BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, ICP monitoring, EVD, and IABP support
