Travel ICU RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in a 17-week intensive care unit contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit uses Epic and serves neuro, respiratory failure, hemodynamic instability, and transplant patients.

• Monitor critically ill adults and geriatric patients with complex cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and transplant needs
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive infusions, continuous sedation, and neuromuscular blockade
• Support ventilator care, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, suctioning, and ABG interpretation
• Administer blood products, IV insulin, and emergency medications
• Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, infection prevention, and isolation precautions

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Pulmonary artery line and ventilator management skills

• CCRN certification
• Chest tube assistance and ICP monitoring
• FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
• Experience with multisystem organ dysfunction and 12-lead EKGs
