Travel ICU RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for adults and geriatrics in West Hollywood, California on a 20-week contract. The unit has 24 beds and uses Epic charting. It serves high-acuity neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and transplant patients, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess adult and geriatric ICU patients with complex neurologic, respiratory, cardiac, and transplant needs
• Monitor ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic status
• Titrate vasoactive, cardiac, sedation, and paralytic infusions
• Administer blood products, IV insulin, and emergency medications
• Manage dysrhythmias, ABGs, airway care, and procedural sedation support
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response, and other support teams

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of intensive care unit experience
• Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring experience, EKG interpretation, and Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience and prior travel experience

• CCRN
• Chest tube insertion and removal assistance
• FloTrac/Vigileo and ICP monitoring
• Multisystem organ dysfunction care and 12 lead EKG/ECG acquisition
