Travel ICU RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a hospital ICU on a 17-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with high-acuity neuro, respiratory failure, cardiac, and transplant patients. Epic charting supports care in a large teaching hospital.

• Monitor critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage ventilated patients and noninvasive oxygen support
• Support arterial lines, central lines, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Administer blood products, IV medications, and sedation therapies
• Perform bedside assessments, dysrhythmia monitoring, and ABG interpretation

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of ICU experience
• ICU experience in a 400-bed or larger hospital
• Swan Ganz and pulmonary artery line monitoring experience
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Ventilator, arterial line, and vasoactive drip management skills

• CCRN
• Chest tube insertion and removal assistance
• FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
• ICP monitoring
• Multisystem organ dysfunction or failure care
