Travel ICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a medical ICU on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and cares for complex ICU patients.

• Monitor critically ill patients and report changes in condition
• Assist with intubations, central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes and trachs
• Support ventilated patients and airway management
• Maintain NG tubes, Foley catheters and dressing changes
• Administer medications and coordinate care with the team
• Document patient care in Meditech

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIH Stroke Certification
• 2-3 years ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking skills

• MICU or MSICU background
• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech experience
