Travel ICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults in a short-term acute care hospital intensive care unit in Lubbock, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 16 beds, 1:2 ratios, Epic charting and Level II trauma care. It serves trauma, cardiac surgery and neuro patients.

• Monitor critically ill adults
• Manage ventilator support and suctioning
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias
• Assist with chest tubes, central lines and drains
• Support post-cardiac surgery and neuro care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 3 years of intensive care unit experience
• Prior travel experience
• Epic charting system experience
• ACT, ABG and dysrhythmia interpretation skills

• CRRT, EVD and ICP monitoring experience
• Impella and cardiac surgery experience
• Trauma, neuro and post-neurosurgery experience
• Level II trauma center experience
